A-Town Tattoo was started on March 17, 2008, by Si’i Liufau as a full-service tattoo and piercing parlor. With strong ties to Polynesia, Si’i emerged as one of the masters in the traditional Polynesian and Tatau tattoo field.

One of the most often-asked questions an artist hears is, “What do you specialize in?” Si’i’s answer to that is always “Tattoos.”

His name Si’i, pronounced “cee-eee”. It’s the shortened version of his given name Si’isi’ialafia Liufau. He is afakasi (half)  Samoan and German. He has been tattooing professionally for over 15 years now, and has loved every second of it!

Si’i enjoys tattooing pretty much anything that is brought to him: lettering, black and grey, portraiture, color pieces, and lots and lots of flowers, but his true calling has been in Polynesian Artworks. From Samoan, Tongan, and Fijian styles to the more free flowing patterns of the Marquesas and Maori cultures, to Hawaiian and Filipino motifs, and back to Samoa.
“Back to Samoa” is an excellent way to summarize his tattooing career.
